A key player of visceral surgery joins Clinique de Genolier and Clinique Générale-Beaulieu

Professor Morel, FMH specialist in visceral surgery was former Director of the Department of Surgery and Head of the visceral surgery division of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). He also created and directed the Transplant Unit.
Regarded as a Swiss leader in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Prof. Morel excels in the field of abdominal, liver, pancreatic, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum surgery.

The founder of four official organ transplant foundations with Swiss Authorities recognition, Prof. Morel was also the initiator and organizer of the first National, European and World Day awareness campaigns for organ donation and transplantations.
Between 2010 and 2012, he has also chaired the Swiss Society of Surgery.

In addition to being extremely passionate about his work and profession, Prof. Morel also carries out numerous extra-academic activities and is to note, a Deputy at the Geneva Parliament.
